Bay Air Systems just completed construction of Southern California Edison Training & Service Center which achieved a LEED Gold Certification. Ground-up construction included a 64,000 square-foot administration building, a 13,000 square-foot warehouse building, and an 18,000 square-foot garage building with a truck repair area and wash-rack.
With leading edge technology provided by Aaon, Lochinvar and ECS, Bay Air constructed a variable air volume system with hot water reheat. Evaporative condensing package units, with heat recovery and fully modulating economizers to provide “free” cooling for those cooler days outside, deliver the highest efficiency of their kind, providing continuous and comfortable temperature to the administration building, with minimal energy consumption.
Aaon package air conditioners with gas heating and heat recovery, serve the 18,000 sq ft garage to keep the extreme Temecula valley temperatures comfortable for all the service workers maintaining vehicles. In partnership with the general contractor Consolidated Contracting Services, this is yet another example of
